VISIT tenebraeTenebrae is a solo act led by musician Josh Sherman. The music tends to be a mix of alternative rock with an industrial edge, as well as also being influenced by orchestral and electronic styles. Josh works out of a home studio where he writes and records everything himself. After seven years of recording his material and sculpting his sound, he feels confident in moving towards his goal of creating music professionally.He began recording in 2001 at the age of fourteen with guitar and a background of percussion through school. Soon after, Josh picked up bass and keyboard, which were incorporated into his recordings. The music is inspired by a number of artists, the most influential being Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, and Front Line Assembly.Tenebrae currently has an extensive line-up of past recordings, as well as a handfull of tracks done for the up-and-coming album, and is continuously working on new material.
