A world with which I happen to be madly in love, accents, accomplishments, acoustics, activism, afternoons, alphabetization, ambience, ambition, anime, art, autumn, badly drawn pictures, baking cakes, ballet, being barefoot in tall grass, bookstores, boyfriends, boys, breathing, brilliance, bubble baths, bubble gum, caffiene, candles that smell like home, Care Bears, cell phones, change, chaos, child-like curiosity, chimpanzees, chocolate, clutter, coffee shops, colors that express emotions more vividly than words, copper pots, couture, creativity, cuddling, culinary arts, culture, dancing in the kitchen, Disney movies, dreaming, eighties, eloquent sentences in meaningless conversations, faded photographs, fashion, feeling needed, finally seeing why I was the one worth leaving, flights of fancy, flowers on the table, folk, four-dollar lattes, friends, Gaelic, girls, glory of being alive, grunge, hand-holding with someone special, happiness, having too many drinks, hellos, hipbones, hopes, idiosyncrasies, indie, innocence, instant messages, intellect, inside jokes among friends, jonquils, kangaroos, kissing in the rain in foreign cities, knick-knacks, ladybugs, laughter, laziness, letters in the mail, libraries, lightness, lipstick, literature, living, logic in mathematics, long distance phone calls, long goodnights on the porch swing, love, making gifts, maps, me, meeting new people, migrating birds returning home, mirrors, mismatched socks, modernism, monogamy, morals, Mount Aborra, music, MySpace, never letting go, notebooks, novels, one more chance to show you you were right for me, optimism, painted toenails, philosophy, photography, pictures, playgrounds, politics, prayer, pretty boys, punctuation, quaint summer cottages, quality time with friends, quirks, reasons behind actions, red raincoats, reunions, rock and roll, romance, Russia, sandals in late summer, Saturdays, scotch tape, second-hand CDs, sensitive guitarists who want to fall in love with someone like me, seventeen, shopping, shows, singing along to 80's pop hits on the radio, sixties, slowness, spontenaity, stamps, stars, sucking freezies in the rain, summer, suitcases, sunrises, swings, tea pots, tennis shoes, thunderstorms, touching, tragedy, travel, thrift store jewelry, umbrellas, underground hip-hop, unorganized rooms, useless collections, values in the South, vintage, volunteering, wading in the creek in my backyard, waiting for you, waking up to realize that I am alive, well-dressed men, who I am when I'm with you, wishing on shooting stars, Woodstock, words that we don't quite understand, xylophones, yellow flowers on my birthday, your face, your mom, zebras, zippers.
Never again.

I live for Thurston. Amazing. But to be general, I love anything from Matador Records (also pretty chill with SubPop?). The Postal Service! Lately, quite a bit of The Lawrence Arms. The Pixies. Heart. Blondie. Tegan and Sara. Sage Francis. Metric. Journey! The Flaming Lips. Beck. THE VELVET UNDERGROUND. The Clash. The Dandy Warhols. The Magic Numbers. The Stills. Sufjan Stevens. Iron & Wine. Johnny Cash. The Rolling Stones. Belle & Sebastian. The Who. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists. Rilo Kiley. Modest Mouse. Magnetic Fields. Feist. Death From Above 1979. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. The Concretes; et cetera. It's pretty varied. Really, I would like to be an elitist, but sometimes I am pretty hyped on BNO and college radio. I used to be pretty hyped on Corsets Are Cages (with the first Chris, thank you very much!).
Big Fish! The Little Mermaid? Closer. Things from my French Film class that I should have watched. Everything Is Illuminated. I'm a sucker for subtitles and third-rate indie flicks. Cult classics are good, too, as well as anything by Warhol. Brilliant.
Adult swim! Creepy forensics shows, Food Network, random cartoons (old-school only, please), The Daily Show, and the news (Fox News makes me want to play the liberal drinking game!).
Lots of philosophy. Lately, though, I'm reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being (for the thousandth time!), The Fountainhead (new favorite?!), and various works of existentialism (mmm, Camus!). I really, really hate science-fiction.
Family.
