Skandola und DADGAD-Gitarre sind meine Instrumente. Seit einigen Jahren spiele ich in Bands wie Ilex (sehr lange her), Trasnú (auch schon lange her) und fievklang (heute). Ich habe vor allem Spaß daran, traditionellen und neuen Folkstücken durch eine groovige Begleitung, einen swingenden Rythmus zu geben. Mittlerweile treibt es mich immer mehr zu meinen eigenen Wurzeln und ich bearbeite alte deutsche Lieder in Hochdeutsch und Plattdeutsch. Wer weiß, vielleicht ensteht so mal ein neues norddeutsches Folkprojekt ...ENGLISH: I love to play my Skandola and DADGAD-Guitar. Its years now, that I play as amateur-folk-musician in bands like Ilex (very long ago), Trasnú (long ago) and fievklang (today). My favorite is to give traditionals and new folktunes a groovy, swinging sound. Nowadays it drives me more and more back to my roots of northern german folksongs and tunes. I love our traditional lowgerman (a traditional language of the norhern part of Germany), wich sounds great in songs and lyrics. So, may be on this way there is going to be some new folk-project taking these old songs and bringing them into current sounds and grooves ...
