Those that inspire and transform my thoughts into something beautiful and far away.
No thank you really. But I do enjoy endulging in the Astros (Go Stros!), LOST, Alias, anything on The Travel Channel, National Geographic Channel, or the Science Channel.
Those that I love in no particular order are The Bible (this one fascinates me the most), Lord of the Rings, anything from C.S. Lewis, anything from Don Miller (Blue Like Jazz, Searching for God Knows What, etc...), The Iliad, The Odysee, and The Dark Tower series from Steven King just to name a few. Literature on philosophy, the cosmos, and the mysteries of our existance fascinate me completely. I just finished reading the second book in C.S. Lewis's science fiction trilogy, Perelandra, which is simply amazing.
Christ, the poor, the impoverished, and the persecuted. Invisible Children, The ONE Campaign, Blood:Water Mission, and so many other missions that seek the justice and welfare of those who are less fortunate. To Write Love On Her Arms. My family and friends. Those who are fascinated by our existance, where we came from, and who created us. Musicians, artists, teachers, police, firefighters, soldiers, marines, airmen, sailors, and those who seek to protect the goodness of life. But most importantly, people who seek to create beauty out of sheer fascination for the human imagination and dreaming. I like the word fascination.....
