- “So Much Power, So Little Time†Review – (Demo Of The Month)
“Overthrow are sure to turn heads with this 6 track EP. Fans of Failsafe will love their fusion of power and melody (not to mention some tasty guitar licks) on the soaring ‘Take Me Away’ and ‘Roll Of The Dice’, while the political reggae punk of ‘Ode To The Innocent’ shows off their versatility. This confident release is set to see Overthrow become a powerful band…and fast!â€

“There’s enough on this record to secure longevity. There’s no filler, no messing around and not a single bad song here. I’ve long considered Overthrow to be one of the most talented UK bands of the moment. I’m pleased to report that ‘So Much Power, So Little Time’ has done absolutely nothing to change my mind.â€

"If you enjoy the music of such bands as RX Bandits and Sublime then Overthrow’s sound could well be right up your street. Their music is relaxing to listen to, but at the same time also really quite energetic, and the lyrical content of the band’s tracks has a lot to offer. Overthrow are an excellent band. If you do get a chance to see the band live then make sure you expect an energetic, passion packed night to remember."

- General Review / Magazine Feature (December 08)
These Guildford based rockers are sure to get you moving with their mix of energetic rock and reggae groove. Another British band who prove the scene is far from dead.â€

- Live Review
"Making the venue sound good was definitely achieved through this band. Breaking into immediately catchy songs, with a presence that attracted onlookers, they caught the attention of their peers easily. The sound of the band is similar to that of The Police, but a more rockier, and concise version. The songs are not out of place in a line-up of heavier music, and the pop rock and ska element makes them incredibly accessible. Influences from other genres are easy to spot, and although it is difficult for bands to defy being pigeonholed into one category, this band would be one of them. The vocals are clear and well harmonized, and their hooks are catchy and impressive. Overthrow-"more addictive than nicotine" it would seem. We really hope that they come back soon!"
