Q.Davis, The 20 year old artist from Harrisburg, Pa, began rapping around the age of 12. At the age of 12, he would also rap with one of his cousins named Omar. They would rap in the streets and local hang outs spots. Q.Davis or Q.D as some know him as, seriously began to pursue music shortly after the passing of his grandmother Irma Hills in 2006.
In 2007, he and two others started a group named BurgStyle Entertainment. They all incorporate their different styles in music, fashion, and also entertainment. The members of the group include J White, Eric also known as E, Omar a.k.a Oski, and Young Rell. All the members reside in the city of Harrisburg.
The music Q. Davis creates is inspired by his emotional feelings rather than thoughts. Tupac, T.I, Dana Dane, KRS One, Rakim, The Lox, Biggie, Common, and Kanye West are some of the artists that inspire him. Q.Davis is most inspired by his family and also the memory of his grandmother.
Q.D has been through a lot throughout his life but he still stands strong. He currently works 24 hours a day 7 days a week on his music in preparation for the release of his first mixtape album. The mixtape album will be released in the winter of 2007.
