i formed One Dove way back in 1991...the second song we ever recorded was called "Fallen" (under the name of Dove) and we released 500 copies on 12" vinyl. It got to the ears of Andrew Weatherall who signed us to his Boy's Own Records, and "Fallen" was remixed and re-released. We released 5 singles in all: "The Transient Truth", "White Love", "Breakdown", & "Why don't you take me?"; as well as an album: "Morning Dove White", between 1993 and 94.
After the band split, I concentrated on production and remixing. I produced 3 albums and 5 singles for The Orchids, 1 single and 3 album tracks for The Pastels, and remixes for The Pastels and Bis.
I also started working as recording engineer for Lamb, recording 2 albums (Fear of Fours, & What Sound).
These days I teach sound engineering at BSc level while still managing to fit in the odd remix here and there. I live part time in Manchester and part time in Hamburg.
