Band Members: Edgar Gutiérrez studied with New York-born flutist Karen Bogardus and Miguel Hudson at University of Zacatecas. He has been played at many festivals and concert halls like Musica y Musicologia de Ensenada, Festival del Jolgorio Querétaro, Flute Festival in Monterrey, Festival Cultural Zacatecas, Ponce Recital Hall at Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, Xochipilli Hall at National School of Music, among others.As soloist he played with National School of Music Symphony Orchestra, Vladimir Vulffman Chamber Orchestra, University of Zacatecas Chamber Orchestra.His discography includes two cd’s with Zacatecas-born composers, one of them as flutist of Ensamble Clasico de Zacatecas. He is flute soloist and artistic director of the Camerata Ponce.
