Sharon Osborne

DANCER/SINGER I have been dancing my entire life from the time I could walk. I studied ballet, jazz, tap, and modern at Joffrey School of American Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, & Alvin Ailey. As a member of the Elliot Dance Company, I have now gotten into dancing hip-hop as well. I started singing and studying voice about four years ago in the hopes of pursuing a musical theater career in the chorus line. While obtaining an MFA in Dance at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, I received classical training in voice. Afterward, I started delving into the more contemporary genres of pop and R&B under the instruction of Craige Derry. I recorded my first 11 songs, three of which are featured here, in 2006. At present I am on an artistic journey of discovery to find my style, my sound, and my voice. I have grown tremendously as an artist and singer from 2005-2006 to now and I look forward to performing and recording in 2008-2009.
