BIG JOE

Born in Brownsville Texas, meet Big Joe, an upcoming reggaeton artist with 4 years in the music industry already. Big Joe is now at the top of the game in the Rio Grande Valley (R.G.V.). Many reggaeton artists have made it, but not as far as the young artist Big Joe. Starting late 2003 with his brother or business partner "Mickey" as a duet making poor in quality and style/flow music. Working hard on writing songs and looking for instrumentals they finally finished their first track on the year 2004 called "Tirate". As their first song, it was very poor on almost everything, but to be the first one, friends and people thought it sounded good. They knew it was not true, and "good" was not the word they were looking for.
They stopped recording and decided they needed time to study production on how to record music and practicing more writing to get better in the music industry. As months and years passed, the young artists were getting better and better in the music. In the year 2007 they started working on their first mixtape called "Flow Imparable". They worked hard to get the right flow and beats to their tracks. By August 2007 they finished their first mixtape hoping everyone would like it. On the 20th they released the CD selling it in the streets on North Mexico and South Texas. They sold over 300 copies and then stopped selling. People gave the artists nothing but positive comments about the songs, which gave them motivation to continue on the music industry and not give up.
The young artists had their own label "Perreault Records" and got signed to "Unstoppable Entertainment" late 2007. They worked together to get better and learn more about recording and producing. They later got better on song writing, producing, customizing, and got their own home studio. With the help of the other label, Mickey and Big Joe started making it and going to the top. They knew they had everything to start a new CD with better a better sound, and better flow.
On mid 2008 the young talented artists released a mixtape with 20 tracks called "Imperio". Everyone were feeling the songs and became fans to the new reggaeton duet "Mickey & Big Joe". Time passed and a DJ from a local radio station on North Mexico called Big Joe to asked him if he wanted a track on the radio, since he knew people would like a certain track of the mixtape. The track "Gota Por Gota" got played on the radio 101.9 (power FM). As time passed and people heard the song, they started requesting it daily making it the 2008 hit from Mickey and Big Joe. They sold a big number of CD's in the streets and later released it free on the net. The CD got many downloads and gave the hit "Gota Por Gota" more than 150 thousand plays.
The young artists are now at the studio working on a new Album called "Al Nivel Mundial" releasing late 2009 with new sounds and original instrumentals produced by Perreault Records and Unstoppable Entertainment. The CD will have a maximum number of 5 songs on different local radio stations playing them daily. They hope to take the year with more fans and hits. The CD's title was given by the artists because it will be sold all around the world on the net and i Tunes. As the artists say on all their interviews, "2009 is our year"!!!
