DrewV & KAS are DJ-producers hailing from Orange County, California. Their productions of progressive trance/club peak time tracks have an original and unique sound which have had a huge impact on the dance music scene. 2008 has proven to be a great year for the duo. With releases such as "AT3", a definite club banger with an explosive dark edge and the new "Panic Room"; these tracks have gained heavy support from many of the top djs in the world including Paul Van Dyk, in which he also played them on his global radio show Vonyc Sessions. AT3 was also featured on Duende's radio show, Trance World Order as the "Bomb of the week", the most powerful track of each episode. DrewV & KAS have also been categorized as the best club sound of 2008.
At a young age, DrewV had always had a deep passion for music. His love for music started at the age of 6 when he received his first toy piano. Eventually, he progressed to instruments such as the violin, guitar, piano, and drums. DrewV caught on to the world of DJing soon after and never looked back. After perfecting his skills on the art of mixing and scratching, he entered and won several DJ competitions, one of them sponsored by DJ mag. In 2004, DrewV became the resident DJ at the prominent Ministry of Sound in Taipei, for 2 years. Playing alongside top DJ's in the world such as Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, and Christopher Lawrence just to name a few, his sets were also broadcasted live on Ministry of Sound radio to thousands of clubbers worldwide. Currently, DrewV also hosts his own radio show called Trancemission, where he features his newest mixes of the latest trance music on Ensonic.fm.
Music has also always been a big part of KAS as well. His love for electronic music at a young age gave him the inspiration to start producing dance music and specializing in live performances. Since the age of 4, KAS has been studying music and has played instruments ranging from drums, to the xylophone. He also held a deep passion for ethnic instruments such as the Doumbek and Bodhran. Exposed to trance music at a young age, KAS has been producing for over 7 years and in 2005, he became the co founder of Electric Air Records, which specialized in electronic music and live performances.
True-believers in dance music, DrewV & KAS have the perfect chemistry for a trance duo. Wether it be behind the decks, or in the studio, their style veers from dark-trance to euphoric-sounds, and from club banging-progressive to captivating melodies. Needless to say, DrewV & KAS are set to rise to the very top.
