We are a four piece group from Springfield, Missouri comprised of drums (Richie Allen), bass ("Robby" Roberts), keyboards (Daniel Maple), and DJ (Larry Collins-DJ Platinum). All four are working musicians with Daniel and Robby being in the Springfield funk/hip-hop group The Sociables. Larry has been DJ Platinum for many years and is well known throughout the country. Richie plays with Bring Your Green Hat and ABS
We hold "meetings" of the PSC every Wednesday at The Highlife Martini Lounge on South Avenue in Springfield and are known to book Saturday nights often. The music is an all improvisational combination of funk, jazz, soul and hip-hop. We cut acappella raps with bass, drums, keys and samples while keeping the dance floor moving and the vibe just right.
