&nbspKuka Records was established in January 2007 in order to release Polish Tribute to Joy Division, Warszawa.The initial idea was to terminate operations after financial reconciliation of the Tribute project... but since it takes forever and there are people who really liked our label, we decided to take another chance.Or two, or even more...
So, if you are here because you search for true, corporate-free experiences, and want labels like ours to survive - there is a very simple way of supporting us. Just buy our albums! "Warszawa, Tribute to Joy Division" and other our albums are available in most of Polish shops (internet and regular ones) since June 2007.The next step was cooperation with Polish independent bands and the results are very tangible. New York Crasnals' "Faces and Noises We Can Make" debut album was out on December 17th, 2007 and so far very well received by music journalists. "Faces and Noises" was also played as an album of the week by A. Szydlowska in Polish Radio 3.&nbsp
&nbspOur next album, Organizm's "Glowa w dol", finally reached distributors on January 21st, 2008.
&nbspThe forth album released was Hotel Kosmos' debiut "Wszystkie stare kobiety miasta". The record was out on March 25th and played as album of the week by Polish Radio Two (Biska) on w/b April 7th.
&nbspNew album from Variete, legendary Polish cold wave band, was next to follow and released on April 14th, 2009 &nbsp
