Yuli Quay

Having studied classical piano from the age of 5, Yuli began singing in school choirs when she was 8. In high school, she was selected to be part of the Soul Corporation, a 17 piece jazz, funk and soul band that performed in various festivals around Auckland. In 2003, The Soul Corporation travelled over to the States to perform at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival in California and played in a performance spot in Disneyland. Since finishing high school, Yuli has recently completed her Bachelor of music majoring in Jazz Vocals at the New Zealand School of Music in Albany. The recording of "the Days of Wine and Roses" was recorded at Yuli's graduation recital on Thursday 22nd November.
