About Me

I'm a throwback in that I love the whole Renaissance ideal, though with a modern-ish twist. I view success as a multi-facetted organic being: mind, body, & soul and true success can only come through balance. I have a great passion for creating, learning, and appreciating the beauty seen and unseen. When I'm not at work, you might discover me firing up the stove to concoct something wonderful from the repertoire or charting new culinary territory (by the way, who let you in?), out with friends (eating, drinking, dancing, and generally being merry), deeply enthralled in a classic novel, working on a new creative project of some stripe, pushing myself athletically, lingering over a fantastic exhibit at MOMA or the Met, in Florida playing with my nephews, or out on some completely new adventure. In addition to my never ending quest for knowledge, I have a burning desire to see more of this great, blue marble (and feel fortunate that my vocation takes me around once in a while). I'm the guy who wakes up and sings in the shower, is a steady rock for his friends, and just might make you laugh until you pee in your pants (fair warning!).

Do you have a truly interesting point of view? Are you intellectually curious, yet non-pretentious? Are you solid in your core? Are you serious when needed but can appreciate the absurdity around you? Are you excellent in someway that's exciting - do you have any passion in your life? Are you adventurous? Are you growing tired of all these questions? ;-)................................................. Physical attractiveness is only part of the equation. Please don't be one of those 'typical' NY girls who just skate by life on their looks and unable to offer any true depth. Sorry, I'll just get bored & we've got nothing much to talk about. Don't despair - look, there's another 50 e-mails from guys who 'think your real HOTTTT, BABE!' in your inbox! Lucky you! ......................................On the other hand, if you find yourself irresistibly drawn to what I've said (hey, I can't blame you)and think you "match up" well to the above, feel free to drop me a line. Where things go in 3 months or 3 years I donâ€™t know. Just let things happen naturally [like meeting on the internet, it doesn't get more natural than this ;-) ]... Hey, if you're really cool as you think you are than at the very least we can be pals. .............................BTW, No, I do not want to subscribe to your webcam & I don't want your dirty pictures. Really, c'mon.

Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, Food Network, HGTVGuilty pleasure: watching surgery shows on Discovery - convinced that someday this information will come in handy.

Books:

Try to read more classics these days - I have a huge overwhelming collection of books that I'm largely ignoring right now (worried that I'm perhaps hurting their feelings, but most of the authors are dead anyway).

Heroes:

After some thought: my sister. And Oprah. God, I loves Oprah.
