Justin Torres' Loop Project

About Me

I started playing music in late 2002...Tony Ward and I learned the basic chords and together we started making music...a few years later we met Jake Bowen and Paul Edwards....what originally were nights of partying and jamming turned into a the making of the Driftwood String Band...After about a year and trying several Bass Players Tony's Brother Chris joined the band for the remaining time we were together....This is the first and only band I have ever been in to date...We tried hard to make it work and through time we ended up going our own ways...The music must go on and I continued my path down a road that led me to this project...At first I was just messing around with my loop station...I started adding more instruments and percussive tools to find a sound that interested me and now I have found a road that has taken me to several different places to entertain people....I hooked up with a great band called Leveld...These really helped me get on my feet by letting me open parties for them and their friends...Really it has helped me grow as a musician and a performer....This project is just something to keep me busy until I can get into a band with some good people...I love to jam and create new sounds...right now I have been on a dance kick and I really like it...I really enjoy all types of music and fusion is where its at....Leave me some feedback people its all love here....stay on the look out for some super special guests too real soon....
