About Me

In late July of 2008, five plain and ordinary young men came together with a shared passion for music. These five musicians, each of them having recently departed from different bands, were brought together in a weird twist of events that could only be called fate. They wanted to do something great by becoming an inseparable, unstoppable force. The Las Vegas based pop-punk/alternative rock quintuplet quickly gained local recognition as one of the top up and coming bands in the local music scene. Their mission is simple; they strive for perfection in all that they do, knowing that perfection is an unreachable goal. Taking on this challenge they decided to call themselves Damnear Divine.
Ryan Hart leads Damnear Divine backed by Beau Larson and Andres Razo on guitar, Cris Hanna on bass, and Chris Rosen on drums. Much can be said about Damnear Divine after only being together for 11 months. Within a few months of playing together they were already turning heads on stage, playing at all of the bigger all-age venues in Las Vegas such as Jillians, The Box Office, and The Alley Theater. They have been published in numerous local music columns including Smash Magazine, Las Vegas Weekly, Vegas Rocks Magazine and the Las Vegas Review Journal. They have grown to be a locally well known group in such a short amount of time, and they continue to branch out even further. In January 2009, Damnear Divine ventured out of state to record their demo with their friends The Den Recorders in Pasadena, California. They hoped this three song demo would be the catalyst to greater opportunities.
Upon the release of their three song demo cd, Damnear Divine entered a contest to play at the biggest annual music festival in Las Vegas, Extreme Thing. The Extreme Thing hosts over 12,000 music enthusiasts every year. This was an extremely ambitious task considering the competition consisted of many veteran Las Vegas bands. Their drive and determination to win over fans and gain votes in this contest made them not only win a spot in the line-up to play at Extreme Thing, but actually headline the event altogether.
Currently Damnear Divine is making preparations to record their first EP; diligently writing new songs and perfecting their current music. Multiple trips to out of state venues are being arranged in hopes that the band will expand their already flourishing fan base. With an immense amount of determination and drive, Damnear Divine won't let anything get in the way of success.
