We recorded the single with Dan Swift (Ash, Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro) in September 2008 and it was mastered by Alex Wharton (Coldplay, Hard-Fi, Babyshambles) at Abbey Road a few weeks later. We narrowly missed a chart position following its release on 12 January 2009, but you can still get it online if you don't have it yet!
Spiky guitar pop with passionate melodies: a high quality mix of early Manics, REM, Feeder and Teenage Fanclub.
Since making their live debut in January 2007 at a sold-out Metro club in London, Run Don't Walk have gigged the London club circuit regularly, recorded two EPs, performed live acoustic sessions on local radio, cut their first video, played their first European gig in Berlin and supported Inspiral Carpets' frontman Tom Hingley - and all that in their first year together!
The band gigged constantly throughout 2008 and also found time to write new songs. In Autumn they recorded their debut single with producer Dan Swift and mastered it at Abbey Road. The single was released on 12 January 2009 and a launch gig was played that night at The Fly in London. Following a split with their drummer in February, Ramesh was recruited and made his live debut just a week after joining the band! In 2009, Kabir, Fraser, Danny and Ramesh will promote and tour the single and prepare a follow-up, with a full-length album a possibility too.
