Nicole Gordon is an award winning singer, songwriter, and musician. Her first solo CD, "Lost in My Head" was picked as one of the Top 12 "Do-It-Yourself" CD's for 2003 by Performing Songwriter Magazine and as one of the Top 25 Demos of the Year by the nationally distributed Music Connection Magazine! Music Connection also named Nicole as one of the Top 100 un-signed artists in 2003, 2004, & 2005. Her song, "The Road Easy" from "Lost in my Head" won Honorable Mention in the Country Music Television/Nashville Songwriters Association International Song Contest in 2004.
Nicole grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA the 5th child out of 8. She started singing at the age of 7 and got her first professional gig the next year. In 1995 she teamed with a local songwriter/producer, Bill Hartley and they formed the duo, LEAP. They released 4 CD's, one music video, and continue to write together.
In Los Angeles, Nicole emerged on the original scene as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. She appeared as the singing voice of "Madison" on the Warner Bros show, "EVERWOOD" and she works regularly with Emmy Award winning and nominated composers Ernest Troost and Blake Neely on film and television projects as well as Steve Edwards and Alex Kharlamov on library music and commercials. She won the attention of legendary Los Angeles DJ, Jim Ladd (KLOS 95.5fm who is the inspiration behind Tom Petty's hit "The Last DJ") with her song, "Here I Carry". She also performed live on the Los Angeles, CA based Indie 103.1 fm Watusi Rodeo show. In 2004 & 2005, Nicole was a semi-finalist in the nationwide talent search, Nashville Star.
Nicole finished a concept record with Marty Axelrod entitled, "Songs of Shiloh" , a bluesy, country, rock and roll CD, and is in the final stages of completing a personal, solo, Americana record as well.
