About Me

Thought to have been lost in the great Rudofski house fire in 1981, Vasily was rescued from the burning structure by an elderly gentleman who then raised him as his own. Worried that the youngster would fall prey to all the evils of the world, the old man confined Vasily to a small room in the attic. He was reunited with his family at age 17, after the man posing as his father passed away. A classically trained pianist and cellist, he rejected his classical techniques and has focused his attentions on the rough saw waves of his Alesis Ion. He occasionally collaborates with his identical twin, Nikoluas Rudofski of A Machine Above our Hearts and Heads.

Damn drums...

...are the biggest bitch to record. I've got two inputs to work with, if I use two mics, I get an somewhat decent sound, but no clarity on each facet of the set. If I mic everything and run it through...

Just got the Farfisa from my brother. It's starting to wear on the tops and sides, but it still cranks out those block-rockin' beats. 60's analog nerdery at its best...

Blast! Winter is here!

So my brother in New Hampshire just sent me this E-mail: What a squirrelly assed day& We get a foot of snow, trees fall all over camp, the groups are crazy and the power goes out....
