Fedbak began as a collection of songs written by the duo of Roland Massey (guitar, etc.) and Starke Rogers (bass, etc.) in the fall of 2007 in Massey's apartment.
During summer of 2008 Massey and Rogers cut several instrumental demo tracks which showcased the duo's unusual blend of grand piano, overdriven bass, countless guitar overdubs, and cracked-out electro drum lines.
