Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN YounG E began doing music at the young age of 8 years old, he really didn't take it to serious at first he just liked to write. At the age of 12 he met A.Dream and joined up with On and Crackin' Entertainment and recorded his first track. He started out as a hype man cause yo boy knows how to get the crowd hype and he did that until about the age of 16. Around this time he wanted to start working on his own project but wasn't really sure how to go about this. He recorded about 2 albums that were never released and was ready to step his foot in the door. At the age of 17 he branched off of O.A.C Ent. and started his own label by the name of Young Breed Entertainment. There was alot of business work to be done so the music aspect was put on hold. At the age of 18 he got back into the studio and started working on his first official mixtape it was pushed back a few times due to timing and a few more things that needed to be done business wise. Now at the age of 19 his mixtape is being finished and set to drop late January of 2008. It is highly anticipated and he is definitely ready to be heard so be sure to stay posted and you will get all the updates, show dates, and album releases.
