Growing up in this corner of Los Angeles has truly been a blessing for me. I never had formal training or instruction in the arts, yet I proudly credit both my grandmother Lucia whose greatest inheritance to me was her creativity and sewing skills, and mi abuelita Juana for her patience and talent in embroidery. Through the years I began painting and hand-crafting pieces for family and friends, and now seek to expand my work. I tend to be one of those "I paint as I go artist", creating whatever feels right for the moment. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy producing it. It's my passion. They are my roots.
