Captain Icharus (New Song!)

About Me

It started when we were in the 9th grade. Cold December Fridays would yield an environment too cold to go outside, so the the three middle school compadres, Tom, Gus, and Jonathan would head for the basement and crank up the amps and the heaters and jam to some Red Hot Chili Peppers. Eventually, as the months unfolded, passtime would turn to passion as the music became more important and deep in significance.By the end of tenth grade, another bandmate had been added in the jam sessions, the very talented Bryan Vanek, whos skill with keyboard and vocals were insurpassable. Thus, the four companions who had the equipment...and the talent...lacked all but the name. In November of 2007, the group of guys, all sharing a passion for rock music but each with a different style, became known as Captain Icharus.Since then, Captain Icharus has scheduled shows with such bands as: Tyler Rogers and Adequis, Brace Face, The Casey Cavanagh Trio, US, Self Titled, The Solo Years, Fractured Frequency, My Best Friends Birthday, Arcade Lights, Stillglow, Mahalo and Goodnight, and The Lost Tourists.
