I sing and oh, how I love to sing!The Music from Ragtime, the Jazz Age, the Depression and World War II, the silly, naughty, romantic and sultry songs, I love them all.I got my start as staff vocalist with the Black Tie Jazz Orchestra, a wonderful 19 piece Orchestra (yes, we have strings) that has plays all over the San Francisco Bay Area, even at Davies Symphony Hall, a very exciting gig.
Our repetoire includes 1930's and 1940's music with a lush Hollywood sound.Speaking of rich lucious sounds, I also sing with the very talented Frederick Hodges. We perform at various parties, The Art Deco Preservation Ball, Pier 23 Cafe, Heritage Holidays at the Ahwanhee Hotel in Yosemite and at various ragtime festivals including the West Coast Ragtime Festival, Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival and at Stride Piano Extravaganza in Pacific Grove. We have just released a wonderful CD entitled "Hello Frisco" which is available at frederickhodges.com. Check him out - he's brilliant!
I always love a chance to work with other artist's and have played with the Martini Bothers Band, Paul Prices Society Orchestra and even strummed a ukelele with Ricky Quisol, whom I just adore. Come up and hear me sometime!
