Since we both love music and the fun and bullshit around it with our hearts and our souls (and we haven't lost our nerves and our brains on the way!) we’ve been talking about the music business in Europe a lot and have finally come up with some ideas and a concept of what we can do and offer to make things easier and cheaper for touring bands and smaller but awesome labels.
Some main ideas coming straight from our hearts:
We want bands and labels to exist within their own means, suggest possibilities and help support them in a way they feel comfortable about.
Punk needs to evolve and renew. We love and respect the original ideas that helped create a strong community and make its way around the world. Punk, in whatever musical version, has always helped create something new instead of just singing about it. BUT we all need to generate new ideas and break new ground to avoid becoming stagnant. We feel the need to spread the word by helping bands to travel around, labels to make their roster heard, and build up new communities.
