The songs you are hearing here in full are original compositions of mine protected by copyright exept “Uncle Meat”, that is obviously by Frank Zappa, and Sorrento and Albinoni that are Gaetano "Pirolo" Zocconali's creations. They are taken from the cds “Bon voyage”, “Nebuloso”, “Rimini samba”, "Operamus Suite Machine" and "Eating the Astoria".
A couple of “Bon Voyage” tracks come from some recording sessions made in 1990, but most of the work was finished just before its release in 2000. The project “Bon Voyage” was possible because of the partecipation of more than 30 musicians, among others Jimmy Carl Black (heard here on Old Freak) and Massimo Urbani (heard here on Bon voyage) who unfortunately passed away in 1993.
“La porta ermetica”, a 7/8 tune from the cd “Nebuloso”, and "Domani chissà" that I dedicated to my father, were recorded by ZAST quartet.
“B.B.B.” and “Taboo” are here in their remix version from the “Os Morcegos” cd “Rimini Samba” featuring several guest artists.
“Uncle Meat”, from the live cd “Eating the Astoria” was recorded in London in 1998 when I was on tour with the Grandmothers and it is just one of the many treasures given to us by Frank before he left this dimension.
Operamus Suite Machine was an "avant-garde" band I joined in the first nineties.

La registrazione di alcune tracce di “Bon voyage” risale al 1990 mentre invece gran parte del cd è stato ultimato soltanto poco prima del 2000 anno della sua uscita. La realizzazione del progetto “Bon Voyage” è stata possibile grazie alla preziosa partecipazione di quasi 30 musicisti, tra i quali Jimmy Carl Black (Old freak) ed il compianto Massimo Urbani (Bon Voyage).
“La porta ermetica” è un brano in 7/8 tratto dal cd “Nebuloso” registrato con il quartetto ZAST che ha anche eseguito il brano dedicato a mio padre "Domani chissà".
“B.B.B.” e “Taboo” sono due versioni remix tratte dal cd “Rimini samba” di “Os Morcegos” al quale hanno partecipato numerosi ospiti.
“Uncle Meat” qui proposto nella versione Grandmothers dal cd “Eating the Astoria” registrato live all’Astoria di Londra durante il tour fatto nel 1998, è invece uno dei tanti tesori di cui ci ha fatto dono Frank prima di lasciare questa dimensione.
