I am from Portland, OR originally. I lived in Seattle for five years before defecting to the island.
I have piercings, one in the center of my lip, ears and nipples. I want tattoos, a couple are being designed by a friend right now, the other...well, I have to make sure I really want it because it will be a lot of work!
I like all different genres of music. Although these days I find musical tastes more tuned to the lighter and more chill sides of the spectrum. A general rule of thumb is, If it ain't got that soul...I probably don't want to listen to it. Oh, and keep that honky tonk country shit away from me. =)
I love movies, mainstream, indie and the like. I must admit I have an ugly soft spot for romantic comedies, and a proud love of classic horror.
I love to read. The authors with a sharp sardonic witt catch my eye first. David Sedaris is a prime example. I love to read comedy, horror, and existential books that have an underlying philosophical tone that makes me contemplate my place on this earth. Got any recommendations?
I get addicted to hour long tv series that are already on dvd a little too easily.
I seek knowledge and experiences...experiences more. I believe that a greater understanding is obtained by living it...rather than reading or watching it.
