About Me

Me - pronoun 1. The nominative singular pronoun, used by a speaker in referring to himself or herself.Unless you actually meant "about ME" in which case I would have to say I believe that is the standard abbreviation for the state of Maine (not state of mind, state of Maine), or quite possibly Middle East, or maybe even Middle English, or it could be Middle Earth, so I guess perhaps when you asked about me you were looking for a summary of Lord of the Rings, in which case I would say it is about a bunch of guys who do some things (those things best described as "an experience audiences are unlikely to forget" - Paul Cantin, JAM! Movies) and in the end it all works out for the best...oh and something about a ring.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Myself ten minutes into the future. That way I could always ask my future self things to get the upper hand in this cut throat world...like, what did I have for lunch (which would save me from thinking about what to have for lunch ahead of time, instead just eating whatever it was that my future self had). Of course my future self would probably, if asked, say that he didn't want to meet himself ten minutes in the past because past self asks a lot of really stupid questions. Man, when did future self turn into such a jerk? He used to be pretty cool. I take it all back, I'd rather meet myself twenty minutes into the future...that guy is actually pretty cool.

View From The Road pt. 3

I'll be damned if I know why it is putting part 2 over part 1...but I suspect it probably has something to do with aliens.  More from the road...thinking now about where to go next time.  Co...

View From the Road pt. 1

On the occasion of the passing of what would have been his 61st birthday I embarked on the Jim Colbert Memorial Road Trip - a quick jaunt to some familiar ghost towns of California and Nevada.  T...

View From the Road pt. 2

Safely back at home and I managed to not fall into any open pit mines (though I stood at the edge of one).  It was a nice trip, though bittersweet at many times.  There were times when I wou...

Be Afraid...Be Very Afraid

Until this past weekend I had only heard stories about them.  They were the stuff of old wives tales and urban legends...a tale told to scare a child into finishing his vegetables or cleaning her...

A Tremendous Voyage...

What a week!  I am exhausted.  No longer knowing which way is up and which is down I was forced to examine my digital camera to discover just what it was that has so completely drained not o...
