About Me

TomFoolery is an acoustic music trio from North Mississippi. The group has been playing together in one configuration or another for more than 25 years. During that time, they have played many festivals, clubs and gatherings in the finest establishments and locations in the southeast. Among these are The Red River Revel in Shreveport, LA; Papa’s Place at Vanelli’s in Tupelo and The Rum Boogie Café, on Beale St., in Memphis. TomFoolery has entertained at such festivals as the Arts In Overton Park in Memphis, the Market Street Festival in Columbus, the Cotton District Arts Festival in Starkville, the Alabama C & E Festival in Moulton and the Gum Tree Festival in Tupelo. In January of 2010, TomFoolery served as the opening act for Marty Stuart’s great show at the Link Centre in Tupelo. Recently, TomFoolery’s CD has been featured on both the “Folk Sampler” and “GrassRoots” National Public Broadcasting System radio programs. TomFoolery’s playlist (available upon request) includes the best known names in the history of popular music. Always on the setlist are songs by Bob Dylan, James Taylor, CSNY, Ray Charles, Professor Longhair, John Prine and Neil Young, as well as their own material and original arrangements. The search is always on for fresh material. You can bet TomFoolery is going to play a song or two you’ve never heard before that you’re going to love. Also, TomFoolery is proud to be a member of the Mississippi Arts Commission’s “Touring Artists Roster.” The group consists of acoustic guitars, mandolin & stand-up bass. The emphasis is on vocal harmony, classic songs and acoustic accompaniment. Please consider TomFoolery in your entertainment plans.
