From “every-fresh-ever-clean” to “ tek weh yo self” winners of the 2008 IRIE fm radio station Best Original Dance Move and the 2007 EME award winners for best dance, Black Blingaz ever since there 1998 founding by group member John and Migz Bling has been on a upward, rejuvenating spiral ever since. With a name that resonates the Jamaican Dance Hall culture to the core, Black Blingaz continue to represent by adding new life to Dance Hall by travelling locally and globally demonstrating their message of dance and happiness.
Black Blingaz first came to the eye of the public in the year 2006 after showcasing thier new dance call “ tek weh yo self” the simplicity of the dance made it a sure hit and a hit it was for the first time in Jamaican dance history has there been a socially accepted dance move that was not created by the late grate Bogle (aka Mr. Wacky). From the dance floor to the living rooms of every nation “ tek weh yo self” was the dance of choice. They then when on to create other dance hit moves such as • Dah Way Deh (that way) • Step To Them • Obama Rock…. And the list goes on
The Spanish town St. Catherine boys now men John Bling, Migz Bling, Pink Bling, Marlon Bling, German Bling and Chris Bling the predecessors alongside behind the extended family such as Reno,Kelliaz and Peace Bling came along way getting through the fights and the struggles of the ghetto life to strive to greatness of being a force to be reckoned with when it come to Dancing as a form of entertainment schooling and encouragement. BLACK BLINGAZ consist of six male dancers JOHN, MIGZ, CRIS, MARLON, GERMAN and PINK BLING all from the island of Jamaica. With their great success of having the number one dance in the Dancehall scene for 2007-08 it has enabled them to travel and do many shows all over the world.
