where to begin? every day i work to find out who i am.
i'd say i'm a pretty good addition to any arsenal of friends. i'd love you to have an intense, involved conversation with me. and i will trust and respect you until you force me to do otherwise. do not take advantage. i will always wish i was the girl who smiles, even when her heart is broken, and the girl who can brighten anyone's day, even if she can't brighten her own. someday, i will learn to live each day for myself, and for now, i'm doing the best i can. no regrets: people, places, things change, but i know that at one point in my life, everything i did was exactly what i wanted. time heals all wounds. take nothing for granted. people enter and leave this world faster than you'd believe.

"when i was little, 'a year was forever and a day.' now, they're like 3 weeks long. i think it's because we lose our interest in the tiniest nuances of every day. routine takes over, and we choose to ignore the little things because, in a lot of ways, we WANT to get through everything faster. it's always about getting off of work, or school, or to the weekend, or to some big event. and so, we ignore and push through everything that happens up to that 'checkpoint.' that makes me feel old; i need to get back to basics and enjoy the little things about every day."
