Zakk's Coffeehouse in Murfreesboro, NC USA is one of those places that defies description unless you actually get to visit on a good night and catch all the fun! It's been described as an Oasis of original music and creativity in the desert of bars and cover bands that envelopes most of eastern NC. Zakk's is not about a bar scene although we have plenty of cold beer. Zakk's is all about the music
(and the gourmet coffee of course!) whether it's acoustic, alternative, metal, rock, old timey country, fusion, extreme modern, electronic and trance or even jazz, Zakk's is all about it as long as it's original and done professionally. It is in the spirit of promoting this ideal and these original music artists that we come together to form the Zakk's Street Team. We intend on working together to promote and inform the world about our wonderful little place in a small college town called Zakk's! In this way we can not only insure the continued success of Zakk's but also share the fun that comes from a cultural venue such as Zakk's! A place to be yourself and enjoy the all American Ideal of Free Speech in music and art!We have music styles for almost everyone. We sponsor shows from artists the world over including places such as Switzerland and Russia as well as bands from California to Florida to NYC and beyond.
