Stereola is not a typical rock band. Each member of this dynamic experimental rock trio brings something special to the group. Jason Walsh is a progressive musician with a unique sound on both guitar/bass and vocals. He is able to combine many influences, including classic and modern rock, blues, country, and RandB. Jason has a long established history of recording and performance with other bands such as "The Stone Prophets,"and "Jen Militia," both of which have received radio air play and toured extensively. Wayne Bond was also a member of "The Stone Prophets," suppling his larger than life drum sound to the band. Over the last decade he has established a reputation as one of Kitchener's finest drummers and recording engineers. He has worked with Jen Militia, Paul Macleod,The Droops,Ryan Brohman,Canary Mine and Rob Szabo to name a few. Luke Hunter's keyboards and vocals fill out the rest of the sound. Luke is able to combine both the ying and yang in his vocal stylings. One moment he is singing in a soulful, rich, baritone; the next he's in your face with a Billy Armstrong(Green Day) punk attitude. Classic fender rhodes, Hammond Organ, Clav, and piano come in heavy doses throughout Stereola's eclectic rock music. Luke has been playing and touring professionally for many years, and he has travelled around the world with various acts. He brings a love of groove and musical flights to the group.Stereola has been ripping it up on a regular basis, every tuesday night at the Circus Room in Kitchener. The show is something not to be missed! You can't find a killer trio like this anywhere else."Night Music" Stereola's debut cd is available online at www.aralie.com/stereola.
