Tend to go for more independent movies over the big Hollywood ones.
I really don't like horror films, especially ones that have a creepy psychopath or something. I guess what I'm saying is if it's set in or near an insane asylum, I generally want nothing to do with it.
I like a few Monty Python movies. Some other comedies but most of them are too stupid nowadays.
I am usually too frustrated with movies based on books I've read to say I like any of them.
I'm not too in to television. I'll watch pretty much anything on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, or The Tube. I like learning. Also i really like watching Jeopardy
I enjoy books by Neil Gaiman, Jane Austin, Terry Pratchett, Elizabeth Kostova, um. There's not much variety in my authors lately. I like reading books about history, fantasy-type stuff, art, politics. I really enjoy satire. I like some kids' stories too, like the Harry Potter and Series of Unfortunate Events...series. I read stuff about vampires sometimes. I've also been known to read the occasional linguistics book.
I don't usually read comics but i like the Shutterbox and Nightmares & Fairy Tales series a lot.
