Peter C Lewis is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician, who has revolutionized the music industry in Trinidad & Tobago with the formation of the nation’s first entertainment television station, Synergy TV. From humble beginnings in Gonzales Trace, Penal, Lewis has risen to the forefront of the local entertainment industry and is poised to further impact upon its development with the release of his long-awaited debut album, Finally.
Born January 3rd, 1972, Peter C possessed a natural talent for singing and dreamt of sharing his gift with the world. He left his parents house at the age of 19 and moved to Port of Spain to begin fulfilling his dreams. After working with renowned bands like Massive Chandileer and Atlantik, Peter C moved to Xtatik where he toured the world and thrilled audiences alongside Soca Superstar, Machel Montano.
In the midst all his success, the “breadboy” (nicknamed after his first production company, Breadboy TV) saw a vital niche that needed to be filled and followed his instincts into the world of television.
“Synergy TV is not so much about television, as it is about opportunity… and continuity,” he explains. “It is the means by which a youth from anywhere in Trinidad can watch and learn how to live his/her dreams. Now in my time, I didn’t have anyone to hold my hand and show me how to live my dreams, but there were some good examples around and by watching and listening, I learnt how to make dreams a reality. Today, I can show the next generation…”
As Founder and CEO of Synergy TV, Peter C fashioned a ground-breaking entity and subsequently molded this essential medium into an industry leader, while ushering the nation into the twenty-first century.
With the forthcoming release of his debut LP, Lewis will herald his 20-year-plus career as an artiste/performer and compile hits like “Oh Suzanna”, “Tay-Lay-Lay”, “Punta” and “Gone Clear”, along with his new releases, “Over and Over”, “More Gyul” and “De Sun”.
