About Me

If you can just get your... mind together then come on across to me. We'll hold hands an' then we'll watch the sun rise .....from the bottom of the sea. But first...Are You Experienced? Ah! Have you ever been experienced? Well, I have.

My friends call me Fee.

I like stuff, but I'm also quite fond of things, like this little thing:

My Interests

Music. Things that glow in the dark. Music. Literature, science fiction, photography, history and music. Things that grow when you put them in water. Physics. The physics of music. The universe. Cosmology. Learning. Learning music. Making stupid puns. Creating DVDs that may result in opportunities to blackmail my friends in a decade. Oh, also music. Because I get bored easily, I can't stay with an instrument, but I have been known to play (in reverse order) bass, guitar, vibes, trumpet and piano, and I like to sing. A lot.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can teach me something new.

Music:

Just about everything. I grew up playing/singing heavy metal, moved over to singing in a jazz trio, also sing in a rock band (Critical Darling) and my job is in classical music, so my collection spans the genres. There is much too much to list here. Just trust me--there is a lot.

Movies:

Sci-fi, horror, kung-fu, foreign, comedy and anything involving zombies.

Television:

The Simpsons on TV. South Park, The History Channel's "The Universe," and the new Battlestar Galactica on my iPhone.

Books:

Literature, sci-fi or anything well-written. Currently reading: Physics of the Impossible (Michio Kaku) and Dhalgren (Samuel Delany) Recent reading: If On A Winter's Night A Traveler, The Forever War, Lies My Teacher Told Me, The Bitch In The House, The Secret Life of Bees, Love in the Time of Cholera, In the Company of the Courtesan, Schrödinger’s Ball, The Flanders Panel, Camouflage, The Game of Silence, The Way to Somewhere, Modern Classics of Science Fiction, Ringworld and Special Topics in Calamity Physics (this is a GREAT, GREAT book--you should read it right NOW!)

Heroes:

People who can spell correctly. People who can juggle. People who know the difference between "your" and "you're" and "its" and "it's" (and believe me, there are a lot less people who know that than you might think.) People who have names that begin with "A" or "J", especially my brother, Allen, who has double letters in his name ("ll") which is also totally hot. (Double points if you have double double-letters in your name.) Dr. Michio Kaku.
