In the '80, what we used to call post punk and new wave was the inevitable part of the city culture. As a teenager, she worked as an actress at theater run by her mother. Both pursuing her career in classical music and escaping the growing violence in her country, she fled to Italy. “Too much reality around forced me to think, I suppose”. During her first years in Italy, annoyed by the stupidity of television, Miona wrote a script for a stage play. The script won the local contest and “One Girl Show” performance followed in 2000 to critical acclaim and production failure. For the first time since she was born she abbandoned all public appearances. Years of part time starving part time odd jobs left a sign. She cut her long blond hair and started to write poems on a regular basis. Club singer, piano bar entertainer, (unsuccessful) model, waitress, soundtrack composer for never ended movies, most notably a lover, in a significant year when jazz singing lessons made things more clear.
