hello.i'm a recording and live sound engineer. i've been turning knobs and chasing cables since 1984. i like it. i like it better when there is tape involved. computers are soul-less.i tour a lot. mostly, i tour with the walkmen, a delightful group of stylish lads from the eastern united states. i also record and tour with richard swift and the sons of national freedom. also delightful and from the western united states.. occasionally i tour with a clever and good looking artist curiously named sufjan stevens, and his very large group of lovely boys and girls. sufjan is from michigan, in the middle-north of the united states.when i'm not doing all that i work with friendly and talented bands like mazarin, earlimart, duraluxe, ester drang, french kicks, and i'll record or mix records for anyone who is nice, talented, or wealthy.aside from that, well i went to art school, prefer cats to dogs, drink coffee and can play the guitar.
