About Me

Well hello, I'm Peer. A singer/songwriter from Holland
I've been a fan of Rock 'n Roll since age 9.
The first artists that caught my attention were The Beatles and Chuck Berry.
In the years to come I discovered many bands, but in the summer of 2005 my favorite band Foo Fighters and the singer/songwriter Jack Johnson made me fall in love with acoustic music.
This unleashed a wide variation of music intrest. From Rock to Reggae, Blues to Metal, Hippy to Punk, Classical to Folk... And all in between.
I've been a writer since 2001, but I started writing poetry in late 2005. In early 2006 I began playing guitar and at the end of 2006 I started combining music with poetry and became a songwriter.
From late 2006 till late 2007 I made acoustic music with a friend. The duo was named Peer & Woofy for lack of a bandname.
Since the break-up I have been writing songs, learning instruments and recording.
I do everything myself. Guitars, vocals, piano/keyboard, percussion. Recording songs and experimenting in the studio is my favorite thing to do. I actually love it more than performing even though that gives the greatest kick in the world.
Peace!

Peer & Woofy reunion?

It's true! Some time ago Woofy and I were talking about how we were quite well known in this small city of Gorinchem (and even outside there). So we thought it might be fun to do a show together again...
