Big dogs, obscene amounts of laughter, bright colors, cotton underwear, human launguage, pie fights, bbqs, pool parties, bicycles, wierd instruments, cultural oddities, jumping a lot, Stephanie's mouth guard... need i say more?
David Bowie, the Luck Dragon, Samuel Beckett, Ghenghis & Kublai Khan, Steve McCurry, Jan Saudec, Ghandi, the Dalai Lama, a few Inca kings, Spedy Gonzales, Chunk, Bjork, my mom in the 70's, Bruce Lee, Tina Turner, and maybe a band of travelling monks who play gypsy music. That would be cool.

It's only really good when it's so dramatically good that it pounces down on your insides like a savage bush tiger... or a dirty 2 year old on crack. Whichever you prefer, really. Maybe that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but I could give you a rough estimate of what works:Punk, cajun/zydeco (things that make you jump around),Stereo Total, The White Stripes, Gypsy Kings, The Smiths, Ladytron, Aretha, Arcade Fire, Sleater-Kinney, La Fanfare du Belgistan, Soviet!, Viktoria Park, Gogol Bordello, John Lee Hooker, J. Cash, Blondie, Modest Mouse, old Bonnie Raitt, old school blues, Manu Chao, Omara Portundo, Chico Cesár, The Be Good Tanyas, Buena Vista Social Club, Al Green, etc. etc.
Caddyshack, Goonies, La Dolce Vita, The Happiness of the Kirakiu....mi Family (somthing like that. japanese flick. random singing. random claymation), Amarchord (Fellini movies), The Three Amigos, A Clockwork Orange, Himalaya, Hedwig...either retarted funny or profound
I don't get out much in TV land, but I can roll with some Family Guy when it's on. I went through a shocking and shameful period in my life where I got hooked on Survivor... I know. It was the one in the Amazon and I started watching it with my friend as a joke to be like "God, I can't believe people watch this junk." Yeah well, after that every Friday became the official ooooh!-Survivor's-on-tonight-night. I could lie and say it was because the only other English station was the American Armed Forces one, but the truth is, we got dirty and liked it!

childhood favorite...think what you will
right now i'm into historical/cultural autobiographies... just pick one, i'll probably want to read it (ie. When Heaven and Earth Changed Places, Wild Swans, German Boy, The Kite Runner, The Almond, The Places in Between, etc.). tom robbins is pretty sassy and italo calvino makes me happy, too. Favorite book of all time: Invisible Cities (Calvino). I also can't help my theatrical ways. When I read absurdist plays, the world suddenly feels like a nonsensical crayola box. Amazing. With Shakespeare I want mead and a heaving boosom style dress... With Surrealism, my life has so much meaning! If only one could live well from theatre.
my pals that do kick ass amazing stuff!!! holy shit you guys freak me out!
