About Me

Overall, I think I'm a pretty easy person to get to know. My family and friends mean the world to me, and I miss my brother every day. Seattle is still my favorite city, but I have to admit that San Francisco comes a close second. I'm faithful and loyal, almost to a fault, but I'm not a doormat, so please don't mistake me for one. I've loved, and I've lost, and then I've loved again, so I guess I'm not scared (well, maybe a little). But I believe in love, and I'm still holding out hope that one day I will find my own Lloyd Dobler. I have a little problem with shoes and handbags (and clothes and home furnishings and kitchen appliances), but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. And I really do need a housekeeper, or a houseboy (I'm not picky), really...it's not just a "want". I think TV is one of the greatest things ever invented, although TiVo (by default because it wouldn't be here if it weren't for the TV) is hot on its tail. And I love to laugh. A lot.

My Interests

Shopping, karaoke, Hold 'em, chatting, laughing, traveling, grammar, fairs and festivals, snowboarding, canoeing, whitewater rafting (basically anything that allows me to use a paddle), Hakoinu, garden gnomes, unicorns, doughnuts, NASCAR, seals, pandas, television and my TiVo

I'd like to meet:

Guinness Book of World Records holder Rob Dyrdek and Riggins from Friday Night Lights...

And I'm currently obsessed with A Fine Frenzy.
