Dana Finesse, born Dana Desjardins in Vancouver B.C., is an artist born from humble beginnings. From an early age music was bred into his life;his mother a singer and his father a drummer in a band together. Young Dana would fall asleep to the sounds of band rehearsal. Throughout his life he worked his creative side, from music to sculpting, as he strives to create a life from art. At 23 he is now working to bring a new sound to Vancouver drawing from his life experiences and inspirations to create his new style of hip-hop music. From love to shopping, the vibe and creativity are embedded into the music. Dana has been working on music for nearly a decade; as a teenager he first started freestyling at the park with his friends and graduated to recording his first songs at 15. He then paired up with partner Clint-lee to create the group the Dead Rhymers (signed to underground label Up In Your Basement). Working together to create a new sound diverse to Vancouver, they did numerous shows around the Lower Mainland headlining gigs and also opening for the likes of Obie Trice and Moka Only. The group has gained a following and are now working on a new project to be released this summer (2008). As for Dana, he continues to work with Clint as well as other artists in Vancouver and is set release the solo effort "Love Song's" set to drop April (2008), including tracks 'Took a Little Time', 'We Shine' and 'Ding That Til'.
