Aloha,and welcome to Amtrac Angels. My name is Kim, my husband and I grew up as military brats, my father was a Master Gunnery Sergeant stationed on Kaneohe Marine Corp Base. This is where I met the love of my life, at the young age of 5. His dad was a Master Gunnery Sergeant also, stationed on the same base, living right across the street from me. We went to the same schools from Kinder to Senior High. I am now married to this cute little blonde boy I met so long ago. I am proud to say he is a awesome husband, bestfriend, father and US Amtrac'r in the Marine Corp. We have been married for 18 years and We have been through 5 deployments total. Currently on our 6th. I think we can all relate, its never easy going through this alone.Amtrac Angels is a place where all of us women who love our Amtrac Marines can chat with new or old friends all over the states and support one another durning deployment or other circumstances. I believe from my experience, talking and emailing a friend who knows exactly how you feel as a Amtrac Angel can help your deployment go alot smoother. I know I wouldn't have been able to get through my last husbands deployment to Iraq if I didn't have wonderful friends, moms, wives, girlfriends(of Marines) to chat and get together once in a while.
