Rei

Hair Color: Blue Eye Color: Red Role: First Child, pilot of Eva 00 Relatives: none(sorta Lillith and Yui) Rei is the 1st Child and designated pilot of Evangelion Unit 00. Created in a lab, she was made to Pilot Eva and is not fully human(she has both human and Angel parts). She was cloned from both the second angel Lillith and Gendou Ikari's wife Yui Ikari and her Red eyes and Blue hair come from this combination of angel and human. She also looks similar to Yui and is probably why Gendou looks after Rei better than Shinji. In the series there are more then One Rei: Rei I who only Survived to around 6 because she was choked to death by Ritsuko's mother for calling her an old hag. Rei II who is in most of the series and killed herself by self-destructing Unit 00 in Battle with an Angel to protect Shinji because she realized she loved him. And Rei III, who was in the last few eps of the series, merged back to Lillith in End of Evangelion. There are also many other Rei's created for the Evangelion Dummy Plug System but they did not have a Soul so they were not human. All of the other Rei's were Destroyed by Ritsuko Akagi when Destroying the Dummy plug system. Rei does not have Emotions so she seems like a doll and is often called this by Asuka through out the series. It is proven she has no emotions when Shinji walks in on her naked in ep 5, and she didn't really care and got dressed in front of him. She hardly ever similes and never seems happy. She has no friends at school and it seems no one wants to know her. She will only do things if she is ordered to and when she first meets Asuka she Says She wants to be good friends with her Rei replies she will only be friends with her if its an order. She lives alone in a bad apartment and only seems to be there to sleep. She never opens the mail and disabled the door bell so no one can annoy her.
