God has taken my life and has allowed a couple of curve balls to be thrown here and there. One day you think that you have everything together. You are living the proverbial “perfect†life with your husband in your new house and your baby on the way… and you lose it all. Difficult, ya think? Try an impossibility, that was more like it. Well… Gesswein hit the nail on the head when he said the quote above… because life gave me lemons… and I made one giant lemonade. I knocked a little dirt off my shoulder and started all over. There is only one way to go from the bottom, thankfully. Heck… I even changed my last name, my favorite color, got a new car, new job... I changed everything. But most importantly, I changed my relationship with the Lord. He became my very best friend... for real. If I had a dollar for every moment that the Lord has held me tight through these trying times, then you and I would never have to work again. Anyway, I couldn’t have survived the last few years without my amazing family and the awesome friends most of which, I have met through Highpoint and the Loop. They have shown me what it’s like to have friends that will be there even through the bad times. They are real people, sinners who fail everyday, but we all have forgiveness in common… and we happen to love that about ourselves. We know how to relax and have a good time when it’s needed, and how to get on our knees as prayer warriors for each other when that is necessary too. Thru all of the healing, the Lord has showed me that He is merciful and He is a God that provides. Although I thought that I'd never love again as I had before, I was wrong. God was preparing my heart for Jeremy. I'd say that he stole my heart, but the truth is that I've given it to him willingly. He is an amazing spiritual leader, incredible father to Austin, my best friend, and is proving himself to be the husband that I feel I've prayed into exhistence. Thank goodness for second chances!Overall, my purpose on this earth is to share and glorify the Lord and allow others to see the impact He has on my life. I will often times fail, but I hope you find that in me.
