In the fourth chapter and tenth verse of thn e Book of Zechariah, it says:” For who has despised the day of small beginnings? “and for Mike Robinson life has been a series of small beginnings and small victories despite the ups and downs of the changing seasons—but with a new spiritual vision—a supportive family and his soon to be released CD “God Is…” on the way, Mike will mark the start of yet another new beginning in his life. This will be Mike’s first gospel project and it is clearly a reflection of the music that initially influenced him the most growing up. “This project combines some elements of hip-hop with , R&B, pop, and traditional Gospel and a sprinkling of soft rock to form a work that will minister to everyone. “I am excited to be able to speak through the music that God has given me!” Mike explains. “I thank God for this opportunity!”. This offering will also mark the debut of Mike’s production skills in addition to his usual writing duties. It’s a new day for Mike, and with his beautiful wife Demetria and son Martaveous backing him up he feels like the sky is the limit. “God Is…” is truly a labor love and it is based solely on the change that God has made in me”.
