The Firefighters Prayer: When i'm called to duty Lord,wherever flames may rage, give me the strength to save a life no matter what it's age, help me to embrace a child before it's too late, or help save an older person from the horror of that fate, enable me to be alert and to hear the weakest shout, and quickly and efficiently to put the fire out, I want to fulfill my calling to give the best in me, to guard my every neighbor and protect their property, and if according to your will, I have to answer death's call, bless with your protecting hand my family and friends one and all.
