Me in a nutshell: I love sushi, and would eat it on a daily basis if my budget allowed. I hate pork, whether it be bacon, sausage, or pork chops. I love Mexican food. My husband and I have found our dream home, and absolutely love living back in Jacksonville. I bleed garnet and gold, despite having gotten my DVM the University of Florida. Football is not just a sport, it is a way of life. I realize most people don't understand that which is okay, just don't criticize those to do. I love to sleep in on rainy days. Cold, dark mornings scare me and make me want to go back to bed. I believe that life challenges us in more ways than we realize, and half the fun is enjoying the ride. I love my friends and family more than anything. Whoever said it's better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all was full of crap, because losing a loved one sucks. I watch cartoons regularly, and always will. Disney is still a magical place for me, and probably will be forever. I like to sing movie theme songs in the shower. I love photography. My husband is an amazing man. I think computers complicate our lives and don't understand them half the time. I'm glad I married someone who does. I ride motorcycles and horses...horsepower of any kind will do. One day I will live on acres of mountain land suitable for both types of riding. Our golden retriever collects socks. I think there are too many unwanted dogs and cats for people to pay hundreds for a breed. (yes, our golden was a rescue) I firmly believe BSL's (Breed Specific Laws) are wrong. Period. Punish the person, not the dog. I am living my dream of being a vet, and I'm having a blast doing it. I practice Integrated Veterinary Medicine, which means I don't just think outside the box, I live it. I'm certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, and am pursuing additional certification in Herbal/Food Therapy and Rehabilitation. The learning doesn't just stop after graduation (no matter how much we wish it did!). My friends are the most wonderful people in the world, and deserve uber props for putting up with me all these years. I love you guys!
