I have been into the Rave scene since 1991 but as I was at such a young age back then I didn't have a chance to get to any of the events, all I could do was to buy the tunes and mixtapes - all of which I still own today.I started DJing in 1995 but the 'old' sound was long gone by then so I started playing Happy Hardcore but I quickly got bored of this as I found it to be too cheesy. I moved onto playing Drum n'Bass which was great too for a while but I longed for the sounds of old to return, and return they did.I got into the Hardcore Breakz scene a couple of years ago when it was just evolving and knew I had to be a part of it due to my love of Old Skool Hardcore. I made sure I had every new track that was coming out and made sure I was in contact with as many of the big players I could be. I started producing my own tracks in 2006 thanks to the help of DJ Nee who I owe a lot to, and I started BASSQUAKE RECORDS after leaving PITCH CONTROL Records that I co-ran with DJ Trix who I went to school with back in the day. BassQuake's first release was due out in mid-Summer 2008, but after being ripped off by FULLFORCE RECORDS I am now totally out of pocket by close to £700 and until I get my money back the record label is on hold. I am now concentrating on Drum n' Bass with PITCH CONTROL one again and I'm working on a new compilation album due out in the Summer. Apart from that I also play on HISTORY OF HARDCORE Radio most Sundays from 4pm - 6pm so be sure to tune in and listen, M-Bass on the airwaves!I also have another Myspace profile under the same name but I wanted to create this one to promote my tracks and the label. You can contact me at
